KAN§ER emerges from a persistent unease: the feeling that something inside the body might not be right — even when nothing is visible. It's a collection born from obsession, from constant monitoring, from that quiet scanning we often do of ourselves, looking for signs. From that anxiety, as intimate as it is irrational, this series of pieces begins to take shape.

I work with materials that, like the body, are both sensitive and resilient: wool felt, glazed ceramic, metals, beads, threads. Each object is stitched or assembled by hand — a way to soothe the mind, to surround the worry with beauty.

The necklaces, brooches, and bags in this collection are not decorative. They warn, contain, protect. They are invented organs, imagined tissues, nervous systems turned outward.
KAN§ER is not a medical statement — it is an emotional expression.

KAN§ER

Una colección sobre el miedo que habita el cuerpo.

KAN§ER surge desde una inquietud persistente: la idea de que algo en el cuerpo podría no estar bien, aunque no se vea. Es una colección construida desde la obsesión, la vigilancia constante, el escaneo invisible que muchas veces hacemos de nosotras mismas buscando señales. Desde esa ansiedad, tan íntima como absurda, nace esta serie de piezas.

Trabajo con materiales que, como el cuerpo, son sensibles y resistentes a la vez: fieltro de lana, cerámica esmaltada, metales, cuentas, hilos. Cada objeto está bordado o ensamblado a mano, como una manera de calmar el pensamiento, de rodear con belleza lo que inquieta.

Los collares, broches y bolsos de esta colección no decoran: advierten, contienen, protegen. Son órganos inventados, expansiones del sistema nervioso, tejidos imaginarios.
KAN§ER no es una declaración médica, sino una expresión emocional.
